10 Minute Kitchen Soap Dispenser Fix
Nothing is more annoying than when you push down the soap dispenser and it is empty! Especially, when you are in the kitchen and ready to do the dishes! We did this easy kitchen soap dispenser solution and guess what, no more refilling! Better yet, no more running out of soap. I have not had to change the soap or refill the soap dispenser in over a year. Here’s what we did!
Originally, to refill the soap dispenser, you would pull the pump out.
Then underneath the sink, you would have a bottle threaded into the underside of the sink.
Unthread the bottle to remove it.

Next, buy some flexible tubing at a local hardware store and a large bottle of soap. The flexible tubing has to be snug with the tube coming down from the pump head, otherwise it will not stay sealed.
If you need to bring the pump head with you to get the right size flexible tubing, then do that.
Place the pump head back into position.
Then push the flexible tubing over the tube stem coming down from the pump. Overlap, the flexible tubing enough to make sure it is sealed.
Lastly, place the flexible tubing into your large bottle of soap. The tube can go into the soap bottle a couple of different ways. Some tutorials cut out the tip and placed the tube through that opening, but to keep it simple, my husband cut out a small hole at the top of the bottle and we squeezed the flexible tubing through (make sure the tubing goes all the way to the bottom of the bottle).
I have not had to fill the soap dispenser in over a year! Who knew something so small, could be so helpful! I am so glad we did this soap dispenser fix! Before this fix, I was notorious for overfilling the dispenser bottle. Well, it never overflowered until of course I placed the pump back in it. What a mess! So this soap dispenser fix was perfect!
Plus, once you buy the soap and tubing, it can be done in 10 minutes! It doesn’t get much simpler than that.
