Easy Christmas Bows
Brown paper packages tied up with string, these are a few of my favorite things. It’s hard to read that line without breaking into song…but it is definitely true. I love decorating packages. My mom is also known as the queen of bows and christmas bows are no exception. She always uses the Bowdabra and a few years ago, gave one to me as a gift. It is the easiest tool to use and worth the small cost. You can check it out Here on Amazon.

Christmas bows are so simple to make, let me take you through the easy step by step process. So grab your ribbon and let’s get started!
How To Make Christmas Bows
Step 1
To begin you will need to place a string or bow wire in the Bowdabra. Fold the string in half, so there is a loop on one side.
Step 2
Place the ribbon in the middle of the Bowdabra and then loop it back through the bow maker. Make sure to use ribbon with wire edges, this will help you shape the bow later on. Also, keep the size of the loops consistent on each side to ensure the bow is symmetrical.
Continue doing this until you have the numbers of loops you desire on each side. Once the bow is the size you want, thread the two loose ends of the bow wire through the loop on the other side. This will tighten the wire around the ribbon. Now you can pull the bow off of the Bowdabra.
If you have ribbon with a pattern, you will want to keep twisting the ribbon so the pattern is always on the outside.
Step 3
After you pull the bow off, it looks pretty flat. You will need to shape the ribbon.
Just use your fingers to fluff up the loops.
Trim the tails of your ribbon and done!
Flat Christmas Bow
If you do not have a Bowdabra, another easy bow to make it a flat bow. Start by taking the ribbon and making two peaks.
Fold one loop over the other and pull through.
Trim the tails and you’re done!
Step 4
