Quick and Easy $.50 Garlic Bread
Did you know Jimmy John’s sells day old bread for $.50? I found out about a year ago and have been making this cheap and delicious garlic bread ever since! We have one close to our home, so it is easy to swing in a grab a loaf. If your Jimmy Johns is a little further away, just pick up a few loaves at a time. Then you can make multiple loaves of garlic bread and freeze it! It is budget friendly and so easy to make.
Making the Garlic Bread
Start by picking up a loaf from Jimmy Johns. If it is late in the day, occasionally they will run out of day old bread (not very often though). If that is the case, they still offer loaves from the same day for around $2.00.
Cut the loaf in half lengthwise.
Then lay it flat on a baking sheet.
Next butter the bread.
Now gather your toppings.
I sprinkle on garlic salt, parsley, and Parmesan cheese. You could always sprinkle on some mozzarella if you wanted cheesy garlic bread.
Place it in the oven at 350 degrees for 7-8 minutes or until lightly browned. Once brown, cut the bread into slices and serve!
This garlic bread is so easy and incredibly delicious! The perfect addition to any Italian dish.
Pin it for later!
