I always have on hand everything to whip up a quick batch of chocolate chip cookies. My mom and brother are the same way! Making Cookies
For ingredients, I use unsalted butter and butter flavored shortening.
Another tip is to make sure you pack down the brown sugar (I normally use a spoon to pack it down). Then level it off.
First, you will need to mix all the ingredients through the eggs.
Now add the rest of the ingredients.
One of the most important parts of making cookies is the flour. If you don’t add enough your cookies will be thin. I always measure heaping scoops of flour.
Once the flour is added, mix again. Your cookie dough is now ready.
Next, mix in the chocolate chips and scoop onto a baking sheet. My husband and I are the perfect match. He loves lots of chocolate chips and I like only a few. My first love is the cookie dough believe it or not. So add the amount of chocolate chips that you would like. I personally do not measure them out, but sprinkle about two handfuls in.
Bake according to directions. They will almost look gooey when you pull them out of the oven!
Let them cool and enjoy!
Finally you can gobble down your delicious cookies! I certainly enjoyed eating mine! Thanks for checking out my post.
